I used random old gear that i found around the house to make both the tripod mount and smartphone table stand. I used an old tripod, iPhone 5 case for back support, antenna to hold it in place, as well as an iPod charging dock to lay the iPhone on. Last i used an old router stand, specifically Netgear N600, to hold everything together. I screwed the modem stand onto the tripod as you can see from the photos to hold everything in place.
